Christmas Countdown with Santa

As a child, my parents always planned a Christmas advent calendar for my sister and I. My mom made a quilted tapestry with pockets. Starting December 1st we would wake up to find a small goodie in the designated pocket for that day. This calendar was my first stop as soon as I got out of bed each morning in December and then my sister and I anxiously awaited to do the same thing the next morning.

Although this printable is not a calendar to stick small goodies in for your kiddos, it is still a fun way to countdown to Christmas with them. Simply glue one cotton ball over each number as you count down to Christmas. I recommend printing this on cardstock because it will hold up better than regular printer paper.
